Donations are vital for the Black Dog Institute to continue helping so many Australians.
While we receive some government funding, we rely heavily on generous donations from individuals, businesses and community fundraising events like Yoga Aid. Funds raised from the Yoga Aid project will be used to complete a Randomised Controlled Trial of a Wellbeing Group Program to assist group members in the development and implementation of a comprehensive Wellbeing Plan, which involves identifying triggers and warning signs of episodes and developing immediate and long-term wellbeing strategies to help better manage episodes and the particpants mood disorder in the future.
