今回もYoga Aid Challengeに参加させていただく綿本です。 主催していらっしゃるCliveとErikoさんご夫妻は、運営費用などをすべてご自身で負担され、寄付で集まったお金を全額所定の機関に寄付していらっしゃるという素晴らしい心の持ち主。 私も何かお手伝いできればと常に思っていますが、今回は東日本大震災の復興支援を行う寄付先に設定しましたので、ぜひご協力のほど、お願いいたします！

This is Akira ! So honored to participate in this Yoga Aid Challenge for my home country. This whole event is organized by a wonderful Yogi and Yogini couple, Clive and Eriko - who have stepped forward to donate the entire funds raised during this campaign for this cause. They are truly kindred spirits, with such generous hearts. Since the earthquake here, I have also been looking for ways to make a difference. I set up a Earthquake/Tsunami Recovery Fund Through Yoga for Japan. I call out to all of you for your support for this worthy cause ! I will be donating 100% of the proceeds to this recovery fund on your behalf. Thank you in advance for whatever support you send my way !

About Me  
幼い頃からYOGAをはじめ、1994年から指導を開始。 2003年には日本初のパワーヨガ専門スタジオをオ ープン。現在は綿本ヨーガスタジオで指導を行う。 ほか、指導者の育成、書籍、雑誌、テレビなどのメディアを通してヨガの普及を行っている。 Taking up yoga at a very young age, Watamoto's childhood is steeped in yoga. Blessed with such childhood, he naturally evolved into teaching in 1994. In 2003, he opened Japan's first yoga studio specializing in Power Yoga, thereby introducing a dynamic style with more emphasis on breath linked to flowing vinyasa. Currently he teaches at Watamoto Yoga Studio, while training future yoga instructors, authoring several books and magazine articles, and making numerous TV appearances to teach and promote the benefits of yoga in Japan. Such contributions have brought about greater understanding and acceptance of Yoga in Japan, as it has gained much popularity in the recent years.
